Webinar on “Virtual Annual General Meetings”

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs of India and the Securities and Exchange Board of India have permitted Corporates to hold General Meetings in virtual mode during the calendar year 2020. This however calls for certain additional compliances which have to be kept in mind by corporates. Corporates also need to be wary of technological challenges while conducting Virtual Annual General Meetings. 

The webinar highlights the concept of an Annual General Meeting, the applicable laws, the practical aspects, company’s experience, service provider perspective and the stakeholder’s experience in conducting a Virtual Annual General Meeting.
